would throw in my 2 bits.
I love the ideas presented in Harlequin's Back, but I also agree that
it shouldn't stand alone. In the campaign I will start this weekend,
I plan on using HB as the climax. The runners will start small, and
slowly uncover the hidden truth --just like most campaigns.
I have not played ED, so I decided to view the Enemy as a Cthuluish
type of bad guys. I started by creating an organization called the
'Ordus Nigirate' -- The Dark Order-- This group is led by a dark
version of Harlequin.
The charachters first job is to steal a package from a shipping
company. It is from McBeen(Prime Runners) to Harlequin. The players
do not know the contents. Next, I used The Seduction from (Nerps or
Nagee, I forget) Then through a variety of other jobs. Finally,
they witness Harlequin killing thier talismonger contact and taking
something. They investigate, and find Thayla's song (the package
from the first job.) Harlequin wants to meet w/ them, but is
"temporarily destroyed" by Darke. Hopefully, they will decide to
track down McBean. That's when the fun will start!
Comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated
