I don't know any official ruling on this, but I don't think you have to
actually _see_ your target as much as you need to be _aware_ of his exact
location. I, for example, would allow a magician with his eyes closed to
cast a Mana Bolt at a target he's touching. He knows exactly where the
target is (namely, pressed against his hand) so he can align the relevant
auras. Logically following on from this, he knows where his own ody is, so
he can cast spells at himself without having to look at himself.
