I'm for horrors too, I loved the Dark conspiracy, and with a little
modification for SR, now I can play it again.

I agree that the availability (?) of horrors on earth should be very
restricted. After all at the moment we only have a few mad azzie
hermetics (whatever) doing the summoning. HB reckoned on about
twenty (?) or so having crossed over, and I bet the ritual to
summon them has a drain measured in deaths rather than bonxes ;-)

Most of the (rare) runs you write about them should definitely be
limited to dealing with those that want to summon them, and picking
up the pieces after a horror has ramapaged through an entire small
corp research facility (there's an idea, Corp captures it, tries to
control it (ala the aliens comics) and lets it out by mistake),
not stand-up aliens fights with the damn things.

Like it says at the back, the players shouldn;t know whether they
actually managed to stop (slow) the horrors down, that's where the
mistery should be, don't let them sleep at night wandering whether
the latest serial killer is in fact a horror. Don;t let them wander
the devastated research facility, looking at the corpses, without
planting the thought in their mindnthat their could be a horror
tough enough to do red-sammy, and have runners for afters ;-)

tentacles again)
