I don't :) I use both!!! hey, it works both ways, if players pull that
crap too much, so can your NPCs <evil GM grin>

I would only tend to allow custom grip to give the +1 die if teh
character already has a decent skill, as he's the only one who is going
to get any *significant* advantage (ie enough to warrant a +1 die). I
just tend to think that with all these enhanced artic (which I only allow
when fighting recoil, moving or quick drawing), reflex Recorders and
custom grips, the basic skill is being devalued. Hell a PC with
firearms:3 could get all those and effectively double his rating for no
karma, just some Nuyen :(
