OK here's what I can compile after reading tons of SR sourcebooks.

The corps patronize the governments. To them they are a mere nuisance to be
controlled by any possible means(bribery, infiltration etc.)In some places
the corps ARE the government.

The governments hate the corps, mainly because of the above reasons. To the
governments the corps are the chief competitors for power.

The most research facilities are corp owned these days.Come to think of it
the most are now.Research facilities and educational centres are either
private or state. In the 2050s most governments lack the monetary resources
or have other problems than the maintainance of research facilities. There
isn't even a state-owned police in the UCAS and many other states anymore.

The various interest groups like criminal
organizations,policlubs,civil-rights groups etc relate to the other entities
according to their ideology or mindset.

How the population relates to the corps can be read in the CS sourcebook. How
the people relate to their governments, will not be very different from today
I think, maybe even more uncaring and fed up.
