s inthe SR game. To TRULY run a realistic, hard (in order to be deserved/earne
d) matrix run for the decker, the GM must spend time with the decker when he's
in the Matrix.
I don't think the GM can "give" the decker the info he needs by a simple
computer or matrix etiquette roll. When a decker goes into a major computer
system, like a corp's, it's an adventure and a hard task. Sensitive info and
nuyen should be rewards and should be earned.
But at the same time, every non-decker is bored out of his skull, waiting for
the result, etc.
I can't think of a vialable solution, to adequately role-play the matrix and to
give the other players "something to do". THe spare time that other players
have due to the decker is a flaw in an otherwise excellent game.
