OK, I think it's time to say a few good thing about matrix-running. Some of
these things was said before, so don't get annoyed.

All true. But I don't think that making system is such a hard task, it just
depends on experience and praxis. I'm playing a very decker orientated campaign
and it's very good one. In the beginning I got two deckers (a 'real' one, and
a more sam-type) and they walked the data-path together. Made good adventures.
During all these runs I learned to make a good system from nearly scratch
without any big flaws in it. They had the same reality-filter (being an ork
and a neon-wizard it has to be a fantasy filter, with lots of kights and
dark towers) and it was lots of roleplaying before even touching the dice.

Now, I got only the 'real' decker, but I play a lot of systems 101 with him
during the weeks and saving the weekends for the whole group. It's just that
the decking is more quicker now, 'cause we know the rules. Don't you remember
the first sessions when you played SR? You surely spent more time with your
nose in the book as with your hands on the dice. It comes all down to praxis.
Just to it more often and you'll see what I mean.

My decker added hitcherjacks and vidscreens, so everybody is able to state
his/her opinion where the decker should search for data etc...

BTW, we tried the divided assets systems and it was just too abstract. I'll use
it for large systems where you're only interessted in little parts, like the
personal records of a BIG corp, but for small system I use the old Black Book
System and it works quiet good.

Just my thoughts,
bye,
Stefan
