This is what I do (did... It's been an awful long time since I played SRII... Damn I hate
grad school <G>). If the players would be split up, and separated to the point radio
communications or some other thing wouldn't work, I'd stop working with one group and
switch to the other. It helps if you request the group not talking with you to leave the
room or something. It adds a little more to the realism and uncertainty.
It's a lot of fun in combat, when you've got the players surrounding the NPCs... I had
the NPCs (a special operations unit) conceal themselves, and the players spent 10 minutes
shooting at each other! <G>
