I've been lurking around rec.games.frp.cyber and this list for
quite some time now and I can't seem to understand why some (a lot?)
of people out there who shudder at the word "Chummer". I've read comments
like "Chummer? People have never talked like that and they NEVER will."
Well, IMO that's sort of a lame argument or at the very least premature.
I guess it would be very hard for people living in the 1920s or the
Victorian Era to "accept" words like "Groovy", "Hip" or
"Cool" but why
all this "chummer" bashing?

I'm just intrigued and I apologize if this seems "off topic"...
