Another point to make -
Assuming you pull this on my group a couple of times, or against a
corp when I'm running. You'd better believe that the next run might well
consist of someone running against YOU, to steal the setup you have. See,
no computer-generated random number, or random-number sequence is going to
be truly random, but decided by the algorithm used, probably utilizing the
product of 20-digit primes or something. All I have to do is get one peek
at that algorithm, and it doesn't matter what you try to do to enhance
security, given a good computer, and enough LinguaSofts, I'll be able to
hack your comlinks in realtime. SO. . . . along that line, I could:

1- Hack your computer system, to find the algorithm(s) (assuming that
you were smart enough to put up false duplicates there)
2- Break into your place of operations, be it mobile or other (radio
triangulation still works fine, even if you can't understand the signal)
3- Headshot or capture one of your guys with the getup on. Since the
encryption and the random generating algorithm will be hard-coded on the
chips therein, I can get all the info I need.

Of course, in order to beat this kind of thing, you can always go back to
the only truly unbreakable code, and use a pad of paper for each person,
with each page having its own, one-use, non-repeating key. This, added to
the encryption will make it truly unbreakable, provided you control who's
got the pads.
