Yeah. Cast fireball, throwing all of your mana save a few green into
it. Cast channel. Channel off all of your life into the fireball.
You'll die, but then again so will your oponnent. (Unless he counter
spells the fireball or spell blasts it (yeah right, a fourty point
spell blast)). End result: you both buy argricultural property
measuring 4 by 8 by 10 deep.

Sorry, I couldn't resist the Magic example. It was just too tempting.

In the SR sense, though, it is possible to cast a "death" spell:
learn Hellblast at a force five or six times your magic attribute.
Then cast it sometime. It'll utterly waste its targets, but the
drain will literaly kill you. The base drain for Hellblast is D and
, because the force of the spell exceeds your magic attribute (after such
modifiers as fetishes and focuses and exclusive-spell status have
been taken into account), the drain affects you as physical damage.

Mmmmmm. Gotta love the sent of fresh charbroiled hamburger. (Imagine a
force thirty Hellblast. Then imagine what that hellblast/30 did to the
mage casting it. Not pretty.)
