Yet, you believe that you can in te rules? Game mechanic wise yes, but
if any gm gives you the amount of karma to raise your intellience from 1 to
6 in two months (game or real), it is the gm's fault for munchkins.

My view is that most gms give way to much karma. It reminded of my days of
AD&D, ok, killing that dragon raised you about 10 levels. You can augue that
you can do alot
of shadowrunning in two months (game time) to gain lots of karma. I say
bull. I have seen karma given for killing some go-gangers. The pcs had no
challenge what so ever, but they were given 1 to 2 karma. THen you wonder
why characters look like god in such short time. My idea is that good runs
takes a lot of preperation and research. Then you do the run, then you
recover from the run. That takes time. Therefore, I see no problem raising
skills or attributes, because by the time you *earn* 66 karma, it should
have taken a long time. Then by the time you max out all the stats and have
about every skill ever needed at a level comparable to an master, the
character should be out of the shadowrunner's prime and die off due to old
age, an accident, or enemies.
