recently come up, but does anyone find the healing rules a little bizarre
in SR(I AND II)?
If you use a doctor, generally you seem to be at more of a
disadvantage than if someone has a bit of a go at you with Biotech while
you're lying there in the filthy street. You have a whole table's worth of
modifiers, some of which you are bound lose out on, and the rules don't
seem to match very well with the first aid rules. Are there any
modifications to the rules in net manuals or elsewhere?
It also seems very very cheap to visit the doc for a bit of first
aid. We have had to multiply the prices by 5, and I'm not the sort to let
PC's find a 50,000 nuyen unsecured credstick in every goons pocket.
A note on buff charactes maxxing their stats - I think it's the
sort of thing that worries everyone more in theory that in fact, I'm not
too stingy on karma but haven't had any worries about people getting
extreme.
Merlin. <with a name like this I've *got* to play a character with a touch of
magic :) >
P.S. I give karma for *style* - looking good is important in a runner's life!
