On this point I have to disagree with you. One of my street sams
has 96 total Karma and she is NOT the most powerful caracter in the group
there are some who have close or even 200 karma and are not extremely
powerful. As for my character with regards to stats she has two 5's
(quickness and intelligence) the rest of her natural stats are 4's, because
her natural body is 4 is the reason why she lost her arm when she took
3 burst fire rounds from assault rifles (dermal plating and aluminum
bonelacing only do so much). She does have some good combat skills, but
that's it. She has skillwires+ for other skills, but they only go so far.
The sad thing is everyone has come to rely on her as a pilot since those
skills are chipped. She is a good character, but not outstanding. So a
character who has 100 or more karma is not too powerful. It depends on the
GM also and the house rules with regarding increasing stats.
