Has anyone ever played shadowrun rules where you play yourself in a
modern-day setting? We did it a couple of months ago as a break from
"serious" shadowrunning. It's really interesting how people rate
themselves. One friend could not think of himself as anything but a decker
(he's got a -very- low body) and wouldn't give himself higher than 2 or 3
in most skills, even those in which he clearly excelled in real life.
My brother, on the other hand, because he'd been working out a
bit, gave himself a huge body, and high high strength. Says something about
the way we see ourselves. Or maybe one just had a self-esteem problem, and
the other was a vain pratt... !
Trying to "explain" magic, cyberware and other races is a
reality-twisting process too. I'd say don't bother, and just take it as a
given.

Byeee... Merlin.
