It's not that it doesn't have alot of life it's just that in that
region there isn't as much life that exists. There are 3 ways to
look at it
1) Magnetic Poles Huge areas of Ice - Massive amount of magic
is stored here *of course if we use up all the magic we'll
end up becoming a waterworld.*
2) Barren very little life nothing to use up the energy no humans
to pollute the area and destroy the magic of the area, thus a very
untouched largely magical area *Did you think the aurora's weren't
magical.
3) No humans, very little life at all, cold, barren, devoid of
most things: including magic. *more based on the idea that
magic is generated from the organic, and the conscious mind*
*kind of a anthropocentric magic concept*
I use #3 do to the fact that I feel magic is more based on the
organic philosophy, *which is why space is devoid of magic
(because space contains so little life)*
