Subject: Communication During Combat

Speaking a Word in combat is considered a Free Action. Only one
Free Action is allowed per combat phase. Given that they maybe can say A
phrase or two (GM's call), why are characters who are entitled to go more
than once can speak more often (ie. Wired 3 chummer going at 22 can is
allowed 3 Free Actions allowing him to speak 3 words while other chummer
goinf at 8 can say only one)? Cybermods which up your initiative allows
you to be more physically agile and aware of the situation around you and
SHOULD NOT allow you to break the record for a number of words spoken in a
single second?
With me, I now allow my players to speak sensible, complex
sentences (short or long) as long as it pertains to combat. I figure
that some individuals I know in real life (myself included) are able
speak an entire mouthful of sentences in a short amount of time. The
only drawback of course, is being able to understand that person. Some
people under pressure either clam up or never shut up so...
It's always GM's discrestion, but I was wondering how other GMs
have dealt with communication during combat - how much is TOO much in a
span of one combat phase or turn, realistically?
