One CF is about 25 kg of mass... call it 25 litres when you include
stuff like foam-filling and self-sealing the tanks so one bullet doesn't
blow you up or leave your fuel all over the road. Or add 25% extra capacity
if you're willing to do without that.
You *are*? <evil GM grin>.
I adapt Car Wars rules for designing vehicles (he admits shamefacedly) and
use similar fuel rules: rechargeable electrics are Y50 for cars, Y20 for
bikes, or Y200 for trucks, regardless of how much power you need (easier
billing). Petrol/gasoline, methanol, gasohol, whatever, is Y40 a gallon
(about 4.5 litres, to us Europeans anyway): more for the high-octane stuff
highly customised engines tend to demand. (Ordinary unleaded is 95 octane:
top-end Avgas can run about 150 octane!)
