Subject: Chanelling Adept!

Hi guys, I haven't been able to read my mail for a couple o'weeks but I just had this new
idea and knew that I had to send it out. This is the newest form of magical adept. These
adepts have no access to astral space and only one special power. They may channel pure
astral energy (mana) into the physical world. They can only controll how much mana they
channel and where it goes. This mana does damage based on the adepts magic rating, the
following table shows how much damage is done at each level:

1 l
2 m
3 m
4 s
5 s
6 d

The only problem is that this chaneling causes drain, use the above table for calculating
the drain level. The channeling can be either ranged or touch. If it is touch then the
damage code is one less. Needless to say a channeler with rating 6 could chose to do
channel as if they were at rating 5. The damage done to the target is physical. The
target # is the targets will. To detimine final damage use an opposed success test, the
target uses his will the channeler his magic attribute, staging one level up for every two
net successes of the channeler or down for every two net successes of the target. The
damage done to the caster is stun (mental?). If the chaneller takes level D stun they
must roll a 5 or better on a magic (rating) test or they will take physical damage. The
level is determined by a single die roll using the above table to determine the level of
physical damage that the channeler takes. I would sugest that in most campaigns this
ability may be purcha!
sed at priority B, but some camp
aigns may be sutted to using priority C for this ability.
