Along these lines....

A role playing/ possible hinderance rule

If the Channeling is as mentaly distressing as I am led to believe, would
it not make sense to use a variation on the permanent wounds rule
<Somwehere under damage in SRII> for the stun used in drain resistance.
Ie. a deadly stun suffered from channel drain has a chance <resist with
willpower, like a body check?> of causing some sort of mental
trauma/Psychosis <possibly Traumatic stress syndrome>. Possibly use Geas
or initiations to get rid of them.

Just some ideas.....
