Mars manufactures a variety of weapons for Transcontinental.
Besides why would Ares sell such an interesting weapon through a
competor? Then there a small matter of FASA having control over Ares, at
least in Shadowrun.

The Springfield M279 is a grenade launcher, as such the damage
ratings are that of the amunition used and the range is standard. I will
add the Ammo and Action type as per the other types of Small Arms.
