Normally I would agree with you. On the "confer" system here at
the University of Michigan I'm fairly ruthless on people who can't convey
thought well in written form.
But on this list, you need to make exceptions due to the fact
that English is not everyone's native language. I know *my* grammar would
suck if this list were in German. So cut the "ferriners" some slack and
read what they have to say. Sometimes they come up with interesting
perspectives due to their differing cultures (anyone remember the 2nd
amendment discussion?).
