are you familiar with the "Toxic Avenger" (it's a series of movies and
may have been a TV show, too)?

Avengers are holy defenders of the purity of Gaia. they seek to
return Earth to its natural, pristine condition--by eradicating
humanity.

Poisoners are just plain crocked, taking advantage of those portions
of nature which have already become twisted in order to further their
own nefarious goals.
