I had an interesting geas for a physad in my campaign. The restriction was that he could
not kill anyone. If he did by accident he would loose his powers for 24 hours and go
into a state of depression for that time. If he killed someone
on purpose he would loose his abilities permanently until he atoned for the
crime. Fortunately, it never came to that. So we have a character loading gel
rounds into all his weapons and getting into melee with shock gloves. His catch
phrase was "I won't kill you but you'd be surprised at what you can live
through"
