The VCR allows you to use your existing motor and sensory pathways to
control an external device, much like current biofeedback experiments. As
well, if I read the rules correctly, a rigger who's jacked in loses some
control over his/her own body. You can't run two signals through one
circuit simultaneously. You either parallel-process them, in which case you
lose some system performance for the load, or you blow the circuit.
A rigger who's jacked into a vehicle isn't trying to swing a sword at the
same time. She's only running one system - the vehicle.
