Hmmm... but if you read this very careful, it could mean that you
could build a character in the following way:
A.) Assign your attribute points to the 6 attributes (minimum: 1 point
per attribute, maximum 6 points per attribute)
B.) Apply racial mdifiers
C.) All attributes that are lower than 1 automatically become 1 - all
attributes that are higher than racial maximum automatically become
racial maximum
Am I the first one to notice that ? If the rule had said "Remember,
this final Attribute rating MAY not exceed the racial maximum or be
less than 1." you would have to assign at least enough points to all
attributes that none of them is lower than 1, but with this "cannot"
term it is just like the minimum TN. "Target numbers cannot be lower
than 2" - which means: "It doesn't count whether the TN is -10 or 0 or
1 - they all are rounded up to 2".
What do you guys think about this ??? Have I just gone mad or could
this be possible ??? Personally I think it could be possible, because
it would mean that you have to assign some points to start with an
"off-attribute" higher than 1 - but an attribute rating of 1 is pretty
weak - just like painting crosshairs on your chest, so you have to
take care the first runs until you can raise these attributes...
Wondering...
