Just because non-shamans haven't seen totems, it doesn't necessarily mean
that they won't believe in them. There are many instances where people
believe in things that they have not/cannot see. Namely the exitence of god
figures. How many different religions are there in the world? And how many
of the followers have seen their god/goddess? I think that having a player
that is not a shaman, but follows that ways of a totem and believes in that
totem, would be a cool way to help characters role-play. If they have set
guides to follow, I find that it helps them develope a sense of character.
But that may not work for everyone.
BTW I'd like to apologize for a weird post that everyone got. I had some
wicked line noiseand then got dumped from my server and I geuss it sent out
the characters.
