Nope. A magic iten can be transported through space in a deactivated
state, but upon contact with astral space beyond the atmosphere, it's
sucked dry of it's magic and all of that karma you invested in it.
Astral space out relativly as much of a void as real-space. (Unless you
count the several astral alien entities that...oh, but that's just my
campaign....)
