One way to look at it is by comparing mana to oxygen. The air is perfectly
safe as long as its isolated, but as soon as you break the air lock to let
it out, SUCK, all of it is gone into space. Space=Void (no mana) Air
LockÊsting Spells or opening astral channels (required for any magical
use, including perception/projection).
