With a fetish, you add to a spell's Force Rating. It's very simple: if you
take a reusable fetish, you add +1 to the Force, if you take an expendable
fetish you add +2 to the Force.
The disadvantage is that you have to hold the fetish for it to add that
extra Force, and you cannot cast the spell if you are not holding the
fetish. That means you have to decide on whether or not you want a spell to
be fetish-required when you learn it.
For example, if Maya the Gator shaman learns Improved Invisibility at Force
4, but requiring a reusable fetish, she can cast it at Force 5 (4 +1) but
only resist Drain for a Force 4 spell.
