See the companies I mentioned in another post; some of Grenadier's Future
Warriors are real good for SR and/or CP2020. I can supply you with addresses
if you want.

Practice, practice, practice, practice, practice^10.

How long it takes depends totally on you. The best thing to do if you want
to start painting miniatures would be, IMO, to buy a box of cheap plastic
soldiers and the paint colors indicated on the box, and try your hand at
those first before totally messing up a much more expensive metal figure. I
can give you loads more tips, hints, tricks, and references if you want but
I doubt all 200+ people on this list would want their mailbox filled with
them :) If you want to know something about this kind of subject, don't
hesitate to email me privately...
