Subject: Blade Runner soundtrack (Re: Music during games sessions.)

This reminds me of soemthing: Why do so many cyberpunk-genre roleplayers
like the Blade Runner soundtrack?? IMHO, it sucked *big time*. I was
expecting some fairly dark music, but it turned out to be poorly recorded
70's filled noise. So many poeple have reccomended it in the past that I
went out and bought it. Mistake! I took it back the same day (luckily the
store accepted reutrns).

It must be the association factor in the music itself. It probably
reminds many people of the way they felt while watching Blade Runner, and
that same feeling can be brought in to the RPG session when listening to
the soundtrack. I just can't see that the *music* itself is the attraction.

Any comments?
