Call me old fashion, but there are some great classical selections that
can really add to the mood of a session. Try Verdi's "Requiem", the
opening to Carmina Burana, the fourth movement in Brahm's Fourth
Symphony, "Symphonie fantastique", the Saltarello from Mendelsohns'
"Italian" Symphony, and the "Dies Irae" from Mozart's
"Requiem". I know
this kind of music isn't the type one would normally attribute to
Shadowrun, but IMHO it can set one heck of a mood. Imagine the players
reaction as they walk into an insect hive hearing the "Witch's Sabboth"
from "Symphonie Fantastique", or the "Dies Irae" from any Requiem.
