I kinda like the Sisters of Mercy, Einsturgende Neubauten (sp?), and
Cabaret Voltaire ("Code" is fun). They all offer a sort of paranoid,
semi-industrial ambience.

If you want to be really psycho,
try Isolrubin BK's "Crash Injury Trauma" for your car chases (it is a
concerto based on sounds sampled at accident scenes, featuring such
joyous sounds as the jaws of life cutting through the car. be merciful
to your speakers, don't play it loud).
