On a similar note... In the early 80's, there was a terrorist (?) attack
on a U.S. Army armored Mercedes. It was shot in the trunk with an RPG-7 from
a distance of less than 200m (if anyone's interested). The resulting explosion
destroyed the trunk and alot of the rear of the car, but no one was killed.
I seem to remember that the worst injury was a concussion with some minor
bumps and bruises.
Also, in case anyone is interested: these same Mercedes weigh about 7 tons
(14,000 pounds or ~6363 kilos) and can do close to 200mph (320kph). This info
I got from a general's driver from the HQ I worked for in der Vaterland.
