What do you think they do, have conventions?
The shadows are a dark place, if you pardon the pun. And, while the numbers
are never high, the shadow community is very mutable, and constantly
changing. That's why Reputation is such a big factor in this.
But yeah, shadowrunners would know of most fixers, and other people in the
"support" roles. But, then, that's what distinguishes a true runner from a
wannabe with shiny chrome.
