I know, I used them a couple of times like that. But as Gurth can
tell you, this kind of adventures quickly turn into an old-fashioned
A$&$ slaughter-party. The approach without any heavy weaponry can
give you a lot of new entries for runs: get some decent weaponry
while keeping out of the hands of the Bugs, gangs, whatever; or gain
support from gangs, local people, etc.

Yes, that is a danger I didn't actually take into account when I
thought of the idea of the plane-crash, but it doesn't have to be
that bad. Magicians without support don't stand a chance against
the bugs and you can always take away spell-locks, fetishes, foci,
etc. if you think the mage is to powerfull. Just let the sec-officer at the
airport detect the stuff and force them to place it in the luggage.
Also magicians already suffer pretty good by the restrictions on
spirits and elementals.
