Yep, you have to spell it out to them from time to time. One group of
players also has a tendency to wait for the GM to come up with a
solution. The first time they were arrested (BTW they got arrested in
a pretty stupid way) they just waited for a magical rescuer. Even when
they were hanged (this was no SR), they kinda waited for the magical
arrow that sliced though the rope :/ . Even after that they still
kinda went along the story-line like meek sheep, and when they once
diverted from the story-line it was firstly a very illogical and
stupid action and secondly only a very short (but costly :> ) detour.
With my other group I don't have these problems, although I use the
same style of play.
Can someone give me some advice how to "activate" those players, and
let them think more for themselves instead of following the GM's
lead?
