Here are a few new combat spells created using some of the elemental
effects in the Grimoire 2nd Ed. They are the Iceball, Waterball, and
Electricball. These spells can easily converted into bolts, clouds,
darts, missles and blasts.

Waterball

An area-effect spell that causes Stun damage, using the elemental
effect of water (See Grimoire 2nd Ed. pg 114).

Type: Physical Range: LOS Target: Body (R)
Damage Level: S Duration: Instant Drain: (F/2) D

>>>>>Why on earth would someone want to use a 'waterball' spell? What
possible use could there be?<<<<<
-Hack'n'Slash(13:10:56/5-7-57)

>>>>>From your 'name, its obvious that you are a street sam. A waterball
spell, or any water-based spell, does wonders against a fire elemental.
Also, ever wonder why the Mobmaster has a water cannon? Non-lethal crowd
control. Use this spell, and you'll knock people (or creatures) down,
maybe knock them out. No need to leave a trail of bloody corpses
everywhere you go.<<<<<

Iceball

An area-effect spell that causes Physical damage, using the
elemental effect of ice (See Grimoire 2nd Ed. pg 113).

Type: Physical Range: LOS Target: Body (R)
Damage Level: S Duration: Instant Drain: [(F/2)+2] D

>>>>>This spell is really whizz. Not only does it really frag up fire and
water elementals, but freezes liquids instantly, causes vehicles to stall
and/or crash, plants to die, and generally encase everything in the
area-effect in ice. The ice doesn't last long, and won't do much to
heated objects.<<<<<

>>>>>Hey, listen to this. I was running through astral space on biz, and
I stumbled across a couple of mages trying to kill each other. They were
not in astral, their battle was physical. They were about 50 meters
apart, sorta like in one of those flat vid western movies. One cast a
fireball, the other was only miliseconds slower with his iceball. I
watched the two spells cross astral space. They collided with a
thunderclap, and a bright flash. When I could see again, the BG count
(thats background count for you mundanes) was slightly higher, and both
mages were down, and hurting bad from what I could tell from their auras.
Spooked me bad, and I left quickly, I wasn't sure what or who may have
felt that.<<<<<

Electricball

An area-effect spell that causes Physical damage, using the
elemental effect of lightning (See Grimoire 2nd Ed. pg 113-114).

Type: Physical Range: LOS Target: Body (R)
Damage Level: S Duration: Instant Drain: [(F/2)+4] D

>>>>>Now this is a combat spell. Damage is about equal to a fireball.
For those mages out there who fight cyber grunts, cyborgs, or anything
else thats cybered, as it can short out just about anything electrical.
Ammo can go off prematurely, weapons can be destroyed, even cause power
outs (although briefly). If something is flying, or is insulated, you're
outta luck, cause it won't cause much damage<<<<<

Well thats it. Fairly striaght forward. Any comments/suggestions welcomed.
