Others, like me and me players, having never played CP2020, simply know it
as "The" cyberpunk (with a "plus") RPG. We also have a tendency to
ironize
on everything, so that even Call Of Cthulhu becomes a laughing game...
Unless that is someone unloads that shotgun on you at point-blank. :) AT
that point, everything becomes darker and darker, and while still having
lots of fun, the game regains, and requires, some "seriousness" :) (I am not
implying GMs should "enforce" players, only that most of the times the mood
of the players reflects on the mood of the game, istead of the contrary. And
that is not a bad thing!)
As the fact that everyone on the list has a different view on the game, I do
not rate it as a "problem"... It is good for people to confront and learn
different views on the same thing. RPG groups tend usually to become
stagnant if they are not refreshed by playing outside the normal routine...
It would be a BIG problem if everyone _IN the same group_ had a different
view on the game.
