Not too long ago we finished a campaign series in which the team was
hired to perform an extraction from Militech -- a chemist -- to be
delivered to another company via the fixer who made the arrangements with
the team. The company receiving the chemist - a) didn't want her, not as
an employee anyway (she'd made a run against them that they were not
aware of her participation in), and b) they had not paid for, nor ordered
the extraction as her talents in her area of chemistry were exceeded by
their current staff (she was delivered to Ares). The screemsheets posted
the news release of her jumping from Militech to Ares two days after her
delivery to Ares. It turned out that another company, based in the Tir,
had hired the team, through a distant subsidiary's client (cleared a bad
debt), in order to cause a drop in Militech stock. This allowed another
subsidiary of another company to purchase a significant amount of
leverage in Militech inexchange for future favors to this Tir corp.

The team did well enough on the extraction that Militech hired them for
the extraction of the chemist from Ares before finding out they were the
ones who hit them in the first place. All hell broke loose when Militech
tried to put the touch on 'em in the middle of the extraction using the
cortex bomb in the chemist.
