I think the origonal idea was that makover etc are not going to harm
the target, ground them through foci and the first the poor target
knows is when the focus breaks up. Note that by the rules grounding
ANY spell through a focus successfully destroys it. Mana spells will
do, as will the mind controlling etc manipulations and the makeover
typoe stuff. Damaging manipulations will not work as they are dual
spells, cretae physical magical matter that travels to the target on
the physical plane rather than the astral like combat spells, and
hence cannot be cast on the astral (no physical half).
The result is amusing, and assuming the target has no way to spot the
locks going pop allows you to get them without triggering det enemies
locked (makeover won't hurt him - make him look silly for a second
possibly if you give him a clown suit but astral project you cannot
sustain spells despite what certain novels sugest).
