It doesn't matter... the trail builds up over time. "Well, three years
ago, this team hit us, stealing our plans for DataChip X. This turned up
at Fuchi. They hit Renraku 18 months ago. Again the stuff ended up at
Fuchi. There are six other incidents where they've got stuff that ended
up at Fuchi. Odds are, the stuff they took this time too ended up at
Fuchi. Let's start the search there, shall we?"

And no matter how careful you are, you can be traced... besides that,
your Rep (10% of all earned Karma, remember) gives an automatic chance
that they know what corps you work for regularly. This represents street
buzz about what's happening. Also, fixers probably quietly advertise what
kind of runs their teams have managed, to prove competence.
