I Told TC that he should re-write his manifesto :)

I didn't really want to get involved in this but...

The reason that TC wrote his manifesto was to let us know more about
him and how _he_ plays the game. I don't believe that his intent was to
tell us how to play the game. His only crime was his inability to
effectivly communicate his intent to everyone on the list (TC please
don't take this personally. Based on Hairy's responses it did indeed
happen).

Furthermore, his statement that his manifesto was not open to debate should
have said, his manifesto was not created for the reason of starting a
debate on the old tired subjects that keep going in circles. He's been in
those threads and has come to his own conclusions and, aside from an act of
god, probably won't ever change his mind.

As to taking up space when he could have posted it on a website...well, I
need to think about that one a little bit more. If every member of this
list posted a manifesto every couple of months it would indeed take up a
lot of space. And those with space limitations would be pretty pissed. On
the other hand I didn't see very many objections concerning that (I think
you and one other person). And lack of response could be considered
approval (of course lack of additional response could mean that everyone
else agrees with what you said and don't feel that they could say it
better). Hmmm...I'm gonna post mine on my website.

Just wanted to point out misunderstandings before things got really ugly.
