So they call up Fuchi and they get a whole lot of "what are you talking
about?". And then Fuchi refuses to call the runners for work anymore. Or
maybe they start huntring for threads connecting a group of runners to
Fuchi. Probbaly aren't going to find any solid info unless you really get
digging. By that time Fuchi will know something is up and they will have
cut off the runner team from further employ.

Now, I don't know how anyone else runs the Johnson/Fixer/Runner triangle,
but this is how it goes in the campaigns I've been a part of. Johnson will
contact Fixer about work. Fixer goes through who he knows and their
capabilities and starts making calls to see who's the most capable. Once he
knows who's interested, he talks to the Johnson and explains what he can
get. If this is satisfactory, then meets can be set up. These meets can be
between the Johnson and the Runners or between the Johnson and the Fixer.
If the latter, there will be a meet between the Fixer and the Runners later
on. As the latter also complicates things a great deal unless the job is
very straightforward, it is very rare. Right now it's 2:00 am and I'm
trying to figure out exactly why I wrote this. Dunno, I hope it helps
explain something.

God, I'm tired...
