What do you mean, "broke apart?" East and West Germany? That's easy
enough: what was to become East Germany was the Russian occupation zone
after World War 2, and they kind of reformed the country to their own
ideals. West Germany was reformed to American ideals.
The USA broke apart? When did that happen? Did I miss the CNN special
report about it?
Different countries exist for all kinds of reasons, and almost all of them
are buried somewhere deep in the past. And even though it's not going as
smoothly as some people would like, countries are working together more
now than they ever did before, in Europe anyway.
