It is possible to hide the assault cannon though, just not easy to do so
(spirits and the like, as well as one way windows down just long enough for
the shot). And figuring out which way an assault rifle round came from is
going to be tough (the target will be pretty damaged). If you happen to be
looking at or in the direction of the shooter when the cannon booms, then
you'll see it, yes. But after that you have to catch the guy. Assault
cannon assassinations aren't easy to pull off, but are effective and can be
done from a LONG way away. But the shooter has to get rid of the rifle then
(I'd suggest thermite or acid on the grips and action of the cannon) or
carry it out with him while hiding it (good luck there). Its a game of
plusses and minuses and hoping you picked the right ones for the job.
