This raises a question I was thinking about for a while - will touch
suffice for casting a spell that is normally LOS? The sight part of
targeting is necessary in order to synchronise auras, right? As is the
touching for a touch-required spell - remember it doesn't need to be
flesh-to-flesh contact. I suppose it could have applications if a
magician was involved in a melee fight in near darkness, but had only
thermo goggles, so do you think he could attempt to touch his opponent's
aura and cast Mana Bolt at the time? I personally would allow it, but it
does seem to be a grey area, I guess the best argument against is "Touch
means touch and LOS means LOS. Period." but it looks like a close
call to me. Anyone have any comments?
