Thanks Loki..I just want to preface by saying I know this SteelFlight person
probably isn't even a
lurker on this list but I just cannot let these comments go by.. :)

If you are refering to your run of the mill ram..I would have to
agree..However, you are refering
to what should more properly be called a Mouflon..This is the curl horned
wild cousin to modern
sheep, The males of which like to bash their heads together over females to
see who gets the
privilage of mating..HHmmmmm reminds me of human males..Anyway..their horns
get to a
length of approx 85cm and can curl in a complete 360 more than once on older
animals..Although the photo I am looking at now almost precisely matches the
SR logo in curl
and spacing...Although the horns in the photo are heavier in that they are
larger around than the
ones in the Logo..But not by much..

Wrong again..First remember that the Logo is shown at an overhead angle..This
will naturally
reveal less of the orbits or eye sockets..making them seem smaller...At this
point I will retract
something I said in a previous post..I said something to the effect that the
eyes seem to be
pointed forward too much..After a little research [2 min worth] I found
several examples of
antalope and sheep that have forward looking eyes..The one I have a pic of
that looks the most
like the Logo in this respect is the Bushbuck..Although its horns are nothing
like the Logo..Its
brow and eyes are remarkably similar...So I have to say I was mistaken..I had
not done the
proper research to speak correctly on the subject...

Smirk..[Sorry I couldn't help that one]..Wrong again..Those funny little
loops are what is called on
a human skull the zygomatic arches, or cheek bones..Those loops are where the
lower jaw hinge
would be attached with connective tissue and gives protection to the moving
parts of the
jaw..Any fangs would not be in the back of the mouth they would be out past
or even with the
nasal openings...And those funny little holes that can be seen in the bottom
of the nasal opening
are where blood vessels and nerves come through...Human Skulls have them
too...

Yup..I've seen lots and if I can get access to a scanner..I will go down and
take a photo of one I
saw a couple of weeks ago..scan the photo..And send it to everyone
interested..Via personal E-
mail..I will have to do some investigating to see if I can find a scanner...

Actually, the critter that is most associated with the occult is the
Markhor..The Ram in this
species has horns that spiral up instead of out to the sides of the head..It
is the one most
depicted in darker literature are being associated with darker powers..I do
not know what or how
as I believe there are some things best not gotten into...

I do like this analysis of the logo..And would have to agree as to the
representations of the
electronic, mystic, and mundane worlds present in the SR universe..But I
agree up to a
point...Which I am sure all can tell from the body of this post..

Loki..Please, forward this to SteelFlight..I do not want it to be said, I
made attacks on those
unable to defend themselves by not being present..Not that I wouldn't..I just
don't want it to be
said.. :)
That felt pretty good..I haven't done speed research like that in quite some
time...
