Don't have my books available, but I believe that once a mage has summoned
an elemental, he can "re-summon" it at a later date, to add to the services
owed it.
Not sure where this ref. comes from, or if it's just a house rule.
(Could be one of those nasty little first edition holdovers running around
my brain too . . .) :-)
